Pilbara Minerals Limited is an Australian lithium company involved in mineral exploration, development, and mining, with a focus on lithium. Its main asset is the Pilgangoora hard-rock lithium operation, situated about 120 kilometers from Port Hedland in Western Australia. This lithium operation is fully owned by the company and comprises two processing plants: the Pilgan Plant, which produces spodumene and tantalite concentrates, and the Ngungaju Plant, concentrating on spodumene production.

In addition to the core lithium operations, Pilbara Minerals holds a 70% share in the Mt Francisco project, located 50 kilometers southwest of Pilgangoora. This project is near Port Hedland and is known for its large outcropping pegmatites.

The company is also exploring the possibility of establishing a joint venture in South Korea. This venture aims to build a facility capable of producing around 43,000 tons per year of lithium carbonate equivalent chemicals.
