Earnings season from the ASX is largely over, with only a smattering of companies reporting in the first week of April. Most are sub-penny and penny stocks. Here are the stocks at the upper end of that spectrum, with a few exceeding penny stock status.

Monday March 31st

  • Lithium explorer with projects in Western Australia and Canada Cygnus Metals (ASX: CY5) 
  • Diamond explorer with West African project ready for production Newfield Resources (ASX: NWF)
  • Canada based uranium explorer with projects in the US AND Australia Laramide Resources (ASX: LAM) 

Tuesday April 1st

  • Precious and base metals explorer with advanced stage silver development projects in Serbia Adriatic Metals (ASX: ADT)
  • Canada based gold explorer Toubani Resources (ASX: TRE)

Wednesday April 2nd

  • Wholesale provider of food, liquor, and hardware Metcash Limited (ASX: MTS)

 

Upcoming Dividends

Here are the upcoming dividends for this week. As the search for dividend paying stocks heats up, newcomers to dividend payers need to know the day the stock goes ex-dividend. That is the cut off for shareholders to receive dividends. Newcomers would need to buy at least one day before the stock goes ex-dividend.

  • Integrated transport, logistics, and rural supply provider Lindsay Australia (ASX: LAU) $0.023 per share

Thursday April 3rd

  • Food product processor and distributor FFI Holdings (ASX: FFI) $0.10 per share
