Ampol Limited is an Australian company that provides transport energy, including petrol, and offers fuel through a convenience network. It engages in refining, importing, and marketing of fuels and lubricants and has entered the electric vehicle charging and home electricity markets. Ampol supplies fuel to about 80,000 customers in different sectors such as defense, mining, transport, marine, agriculture, aviation, and commercial industries. Its retail network reaches approximately three million customers every week who purchase fuel, convenience products, and can access electric vehicle charging where available.

To support its customer base, Ampol maintains a robust supply chain and strategic infrastructure across Australia, comprising 16 terminals, six pipelines, 55 wet depots, over 1,800 branded sites, and one refinery in Lytton, Queensland. The company operates with the support of more than 8,300 people in Australia and internationally.

Financially, Ampol recorded a revenue of 37.75 billion AUD and a net income of 549.10 million AUD as per the trailing twelve months. Founded in 1935, the company employs around 3,150 people. However, there has been a decline in net income by 31.01% from 795.90 million AUD to 549.10 million AUD despite stable revenues. The decline was in part due to an increase in selling, general, and administrative costs, which rose from 4.41% to 5.11% as a proportion of sales.
