BAL – BELLAMY’S AUSTRALIA – down 51 cents, or six per cent, to $7.98
Bellamy’s Australia expects first-half sales to decline by between of 10 and 15 per cent from a year ago, chief executive officer Andrew Cohen said at an annual general meeting on Wednesday.
SUL – SUPER RETAIL GROUP – down $1.02, or 10.9 per cent, to $8.33
Super Retail Group, which includes Supercheap Auto, Macpac, Rebel and Boating Camping Fishing, said there were growing signs consumers were being more cautious with spending.
NCM – NEWCREST MINING – up 60 cents, or 2.9 per cent, to $21.30
Newcrest Mining’s gold production rose five per cent in the first quarter compared with a year ago, helped by higher output at its flagship Cadia mine.
BPT – BEACH ENERGY – down seven cents, or 4.2 per cent, to $1.60
ORG – ORIGIN ENERGY – down 26 cents, or 3.4 per cent, to $7.30
OSH – OIL SEARCH – down 16 cents, or two per cent, to $7.98
WPL WOODSIDE PETROLEUM – down 45 cents, or 1.3 per cent, to $34.30
Oil prices plunged to two-month lows overnight amid a sell-off in global equity markets and worries about demand growth, after Saudi Arabia said it could supply more crude quickly if needed, easing concerns ahead of US sanctions on Iran.
