Salesforce (CRM) has garnered a new bullish outlook from Goldman Sachs, with the firm initiating coverage with a “Buy” rating and a $330 price target, citing the potential of artificial intelligence to drive growth in the software sector. The initiation comes amidst a flurry of analyst activity surrounding Salesforce’s prospects.

Goldman Sachs analyst Gabriela Borges, who assumed coverage of the software sector, believes the adoption of artificial intelligence will provide a “positive tailwind” to the total addressable market for software over the next decade. Borges also noted that Salesforce’s key performance indicators are beginning to show positive inflection points, suggesting a strengthening business outlook.

Price Targets

Recent analyst notes indicate a generally positive sentiment toward Salesforce. On December 4, 2025, Goldman Sachs reiterated its “Buy” rating with a price target of $385, highlighting the growing ARR of Salesforce’s AI-driven platforms like Agentforce and Data 360.

Further supporting the bullish view, Citizens maintained a “Market Outperform” rating with a $430 price target on October 17,, emphasizing Salesforce’s advancements in delivering the “agentic enterprise.”  Piper Sandler named Salesforce a top pick for 2025, reiterating an “Overweight” rating and a $405 price target, expecting double-digit free cash flow growth and operating margin expansion. That particular call did not come to light, with a ~25% decline in Salesforce’s stock on the year.

The market’s reaction to Wall St views will be more swayed by Salesforce’s ability to execute its AI strategy and maintain its growth trajectory after a tricky year. While the majority of analyst sentiment leans positive, the company must continue to demonstrate tangible results to justify the high expectations.
