Intel Price Targets

Wells Fargo raised its price target on Intel to $45 from $30, maintaining an Equal Weight rating. The firm cited Intel’s solid Q3 results, a Q4 outlook viewed as conservative, and increased confidence in the company’s roadmap as justification for the increased target. Mizuho analyst Vijay Rakesh also increased his firm’s price target to $41 from $39, while maintaining a Neutral rating. Rakesh pointed to the company’s strong September quarter results and inline guidance for the December quarter. Susquehanna analyst Christopher Rolland raised the price target to $31 from $22, maintaining a Neutral rating, anticipating Q3 results to align with forecasts but notes potential risks of weaker guidance for the next quarter.

Intel’s Q3 2025 financial results revealed revenue of $13.7 billion, a 3% year-over-year increase. Gross margin improved significantly to 38.2%, compared to 15% in the same quarter last year. Earnings per share (EPS) reached $0.90, with a non-GAAP EPS of $0.23, both exceeding analyst expectations. These results reflect what the company says is improved execution against strategic priorities, including advancements in AI and foundry services.

The company has also secured substantial investments. Nvidia is set to invest $5 billion, with SoftBank committing $2 billion. The U.S. Government has made a landmark $8.9 billion investment, acquiring a 10% stake in Intel, underscoring the company’s strategic importance.

Under CEO Lip-Bu Tan, Intel has implemented cost-cutting measures, including the sale of a 51% stake in its programmable chip unit, Altera, to Silver Lake for $8.75 billion. This transaction has allowed Intel to reduce its full-year 2025 adjusted operating expense outlook to $16.8 billion from a prior estimate of $17 billion.

Following the positive earnings report, Intel shares surged nearly 9% in premarket trading on October 24, 2025.

While the raised price targets and positive market reaction indicate increased confidence in Intel’s turnaround efforts, challenges remain, particularly in improving manufacturing yields. The company’s strategic focus on AI, foundry services, and cost management will be critical in sustaining its growth trajectory.
