BUY RECOMMENDATIONS
BUY – Qoria (QOR)
Qoria sells software to schools to monitor cyber safety for students. Cyber safety is a growing priority for schools and parents in the digital age, given students can access the internet across multiple devices. The company has been growing rapidly and has now reached a profitability inflection point. The company posted annual recurring revenue growth of 25 per cent in fiscal year 2025. EBITDA margins are projected to rise to 20 per cent in fiscal year 2026, driven by flat costs and a highly successful new product launch. Qoria is on track to meet the rule of 40 threshold — a benchmark where a company’s combined growth rate and profit margin reach 40 per cent, signalling robust performance. Often, the best time to invest in companies is before a valuation re-rate. QOR is best suited for higher risk investors.
BUY – Stanmore Resources (SMR)
This metallurgical coal company recently reported strong production in the 2025 June quarter leading into a solid start to the second half of 2025. Cost savings are projected to flow through to the bottom line on higher coal tonnages, leading to an uplift in cash flow and potential for a solid dividend. SMR is one of the lowest cost producers listed on the ASX. This stock suits investors looking for a turnaround play post a lengthy weak share price that is showing signs of a recovery.
HOLD RECOMMENDATIONS
HOLD – Antipa Minerals (AZY)
Antipa Minerals is a gold and copper explorer and development company, with a dominant land holding of 4100 square kilometres in Western Australia’s highly prospective Paterson Province. Antipa’s flagship Minyari Dome project hosts a resource of 2.5 million ounces of gold. The project’s updated scoping study confirms robust stand-alone development credentials, with a 30.2 million tonnes mining schedule underpinning a processing life of more than 10 years. Aggressive 2025 drilling campaigns continue to grow the resource base and unlock new discoveries. The company maintains a strong cash balance of $71 million, which fully funds near term resource growth and technical de-risking.
HOLD – PEXA Group (PXA)
PEXA operates a leading digital property platform and settles most transactions in Australia. The company is trying to replicate its Australian success in the UK. PXA recently announced it was progressing a strategic partnership with NatWest Group in the UK. PXA recently received a formal commitment from NatWest to facilitate future re-mortgage and sales and purchase transactions via the PEXA platform. Investors responded positively to the PEXA announcement. PEXA is poised to benefit further if it can expand its platform to other UK firms.
SELL RECOMMENDATIONS
SELL – Eagers Automotive (APE)
Eagers is an automotive retail group operating in Australia and New Zealand. New vehicle sales in Australia in July 2025 were up 2 per cent on the prior corresponding period. APE’s performance has been strong due to demand for electric vehicles. The company is well managed. However, the company’s price/earnings ratio is trading well above its long term average, so investors may want to consider locking in some gains. The shares have risen from $16.77 on June 20 to trade at $21.24 on August 14.
SELL – Megaport (MP1)
Megaport provides network-as-a-service solutions, enabling businesses to connect seamlessly with cloud service providers. The shares have risen from $8.66 on April 7 to trade at $15.12 on August 14. The company has guided to increasing revenue in fiscal year 2026 due to new products and greater market penetration via an increasing sales team. However, in our view, it appears such a positive outlook has been priced into the stock. Any delays or issues to fiscal year 2027 sales plans is likely to be punished by the market. We suggest investors consider taking profits while the share price exhibits strength.

BUY RECOMMENDATIONS
BUY – Pinnacle Investment Management Group (PNI)
Pinnacle is a global multi-affiliate investment management firm. The company’s recent full year results confirmed underlying fund performance and overall investment flows, particularly at new affiliate Life Cycle, continue to impress. Pinnacle posted net profit after tax of $134.4 million in fiscal year 2025, up 49 per cent on the prior corresponding period. Total dividends of 60 cents a share in fiscal year 2025 were up 43 per cent. With markets invariably at or around record highs, we expect the company to generate increasing performance fees, as high watermark restraints are cleared. We view any dip in PNI’s share price as an opportunity to add stock to portfolios.
BUY – Sonic Healthcare (SHL)
Australia’s leading pathology services provider continues to trade at a steep discount to our valuation despite supportive Medicare data and ongoing efforts to manage costs. While uncertainty regarding Sonic’s US business persists in terms of scale and growth, we’re looking for an encouraging update when the firm delivers financial results on August 21. SHL generated statutory revenue of $4.669 billion in the first half of fiscal year 2025, an increase of 8.4 per cent on the prior corresponding period. EBITDA of $827 million was up 12.3 per cent.
HOLD RECOMMENDATIONS
HOLD – Lendlease Group (LLC)
LLC is a property developer and investment manager. LLC’s lengthy restructuring plan appears to be nearing fruition with more than $2.5 billion in asset sales this year. Moving forward, LLC’s gearing should return to comfortable levels, enabling it to invest in future growth initiatives as well as return excess capital to shareholders via buybacks and dividends over time. The company announced on July 16 that it was growing its Australian pipeline with a luxury residential development in Sydney. The shares have risen from $5.09 on July 16 to trade at $5.44 on August 14.
HOLD – Xero (XRO)
XRO is a global accounting software provider. The company recently completed an institutional placement of $1.85 billion to fund the company’s acquisition of Melio, a US business-to-business payments platform. We expect the company to focus on its key and strongly performing Australian and UK markets, while investors assess Melio’s ability to drive long awaited US market penetration.
SELL RECOMMENDATIONS
SELL – REA Group (REA)
REA is a multi-national digital advertising group specialising in property. REA’s financial performance is increasingly driven by price increases rather than volume, in our view. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission is investigating REA Group’s market power and subscription offerings. US firm CoStar Group has acquired Domain, which should lead to more intense competition. In our view, operational and regulatory risks present investors with an opportunity to exit a stock that was recently trading above our valuation.
SELL – IGO Limited (IGO)
IGO owns and operates the Nova nickel, copper and cobalt operation, an underground mining and processing facility in Western Australia. Final production at Nova is expected in the December quarter of 2026. IGO continues to hold a significant stake in Australia’s premier lithium mine Greenbushes in Western Australia. The ownership structure is a disadvantage for IGO, in our view, and its attempt to gain greater control via lithium hydroxide processing appears uncertain. In our opinion, IGO carries outsized strategic risk, so we prefer other names in the critical minerals space.

BUY RECOMMENDATIONS
BUY – Legacy Minerals Holdings (LGM)
This junior explorer offers a combination of resource growth and high risk/high reward drilling programs. The flagship Drake project in New South Wales revealed a positive stage 1 scoping study, which delivered a substantial increase in resources and robust economics. LGM recently pegged the Nico Young deposit in NSW, which represents contained metal of about 1 million tonnes of nickel and 100,000 tonnes of cobalt. Exploration upside comes from the Thomson Fold Belt projects in search of giant copper-gold deposits. In our view, LGM is a speculative buy.
BUY – Kaiser Reef (KAU)
KAU reported strong gold production after recently acquiring the Henty gold mine in Tasmania. Henty produced 4069 ounces between May 15 and June 30. It generated positive cash flow of about $30 million. Work continues at the A1 gold mine in Victoria with underground exploration and development. The company’s Maldon Gold processing plant is a valuable asset. KAU offers potential growth through gold production, exploration and processing.
HOLD RECOMMENDATIONS
HOLD – Great Southern Mining (GSN)
Diamond drilling is underway at the Edinburgh Park project in north Queensland, targeting large scale copper-gold resources in a joint venture with Gold Fields. Following drilling at the initial Leichhardt Creek target, the drill rig is planned to move to Mt Dillon, which is a prominent topographic feature preserved as a silicified lithocap. GSN announced the sale of a mining licence for the Southern Star gold prospect for an upfront cash payment of $4 million with the potential for contingent payments that may total a further $5 million. The transaction enables GSN to fund exploration across its Duketon tenure. GSN offers potential, but remains a speculative stock.
HOLD – Nyrada Inc. (NYR)
The final participant from NYR’s phase 1 trial for Xolatryp has been dosed and discharged with no adverse safety signals or unexpected side effects observed in all six cohorts. Xolatryp is a first-in-class small molecule offering potential cardio and neuro protection therapy, and has demonstrated pre-clinical efficacy as an acute treatment following ischemic stroke, traumatic brain injury and acute myocardial infarction. We suggest holding for further advancements and initiation of a phase 2 trial.
SELL RECOMMENDATIONS
SELL – WiseTech Global (WTC)
WiseTech develops and provides software solutions to the global logistics industry. The company recently completed the $US2.1 billion acquisition of e2open, a US based company involved in cloud based trade and supply chain solutions. The acquisition is fully debt funded from a new debt syndicated facility. WiseTech shares have risen from $74.83 on April 4 to trade at $114.96 on August 14. WiseTech was recently trading on a lofty price/earnings ratio of 124 times. Share price strength creates an opportunity to lock in some profits.
SELL – Nick Scali (NCK)
This major furniture retailer generated total group revenue of $495.3 million in fiscal year 2025, up 5.8 per cent on the prior corresponding period. However, statutory group net profit after tax of $57.7 million was down 28.3 per cent. The statutory UK net loss after tax of $13.6 million was a drag on the result. The share price traded to a 52 week high of $22.61 on August 14. At these levels, it may be a good time to pocket some profits given the potential for retail sector headwinds in Australia’s high cost of living economy.
