SRG Global shares (ASX: SRG) led the ASX 200 today, jumping 16.56% to A$3.66 after securing A$1.85 billion in new contracts and raising earnings guidance for both FY26 and FY27 above market expectations.
The SRG share price hit a new all-time-high at A$3.68, breaking decisively above an eight-month consolidation range that had capped the stock since late 2025. The move extends SRG’s 12-month gain to 139.22%, making it one of the strongest performers in the ASX 200 over that period. Trading volumes surged well above recent averages, with 4.72x the ADV, and 7.04million shares changing hands, with the breakout attracting attention from technical and momentum funds.
The rally came on the back of a comprehensive business update that addressed both near-term earnings visibility and medium-term growth prospects. Markets had been pricing in modest upgrades to FY26 following strong first-half results in February, but the scale of new contract wins and the introduction of FY27 guidance materially above consensus caught many by surprise.
Contract Wins Underpin Step-Change in Earnings
SRG disclosed that it has secured A$1.85 billion of new work across nine sectors: Water, Defence, Energy, Industrial, Resources, Ports, Data Centres, Health, and Education.

The contracts are predominantly long-tenure maintenance and asset integrity agreements, reinforcing management’s strategic pivot toward recurring revenue streams that now represent approximately 80% of the business mix.
Four marquee wins anchor the update.
An eight-year multi-disciplinary maintenance contract with Fortescue covers the mining giant’s Pilbara operations, positioning SRG to benefit from both ongoing iron ore production and Fortescue’s push into decarbonisation and green energy projects.
A seven-year asset integrity and advanced inspection contract with Origin Energy spans Central Queensland operations, adding a repeat blue-chip energy client to the portfolio.
Alcoa awarded SRG a five-year asset integrity contract in Western Australia, tying the company to a major global aluminium producer at a time when alumina markets remain tight and maintenance capital expenditure is well supported.
Then, an eight-year alliance with Gympie Regional Council through to 2034 provides program management and water infrastructure services, adding defensive, government-backed revenue in an essential service.
The breadth of the contract haul across resources, energy, industrial metals, and public infrastructure, materially de-risks SRG’s growth profile and reduces exposure to any single commodity cycle or client. The five-to-eight-year tenors provide significant earnings visibility and underpin the company’s transition from a project-based contractor to a recurring-revenue industrial services platform.
Guidance Upgraded for FY26 and FY27
On the strength of the contract wins and strong operational momentum, SRG upgraded its FY26 EBITDA guidance to the top end of the previously flagged A$164 million to A$168 million range, effectively guiding to A$168 million versus consensus estimates of A$166.1 million. More significantly, the company initiated FY27 EBITDA guidance of A$190 million to A$200 million, with a midpoint of A$195 million sitting approximately 3% above prior market expectations of A$188.5 million.
The FY27 range implies year-on-year EBITDA growth of more than 15% from the FY26 top end, a material step-change that reflects not just the recent contract wins but also the maturation of work secured over the past 18 months. The guidance assumes continued execution across SRG’s diversified portfolio, stable pricing dynamics, and the successful integration of recent capability acquisitions.
With SRG shares having set highs on a heavy volume day, markets will be expecting continuation in the days ahead, yet there will be some keen to see whether earlier resistance around A$3.15 will provide support during any pullbacks. Whether one emerges will be told in time, but for now, this is a good day for the bulls.
Bull Case:
- A$1.85bn contract wins across nine sectors provide multi-year earnings visibility and growth
- FY27 EBITDA guidance 3% above consensus signals sustained earnings momentum through 2027
- Recurring revenue now ~80% of mix, de-risking earnings and justifying premium valuation
- Long-tenure contracts with Fortescue, Origin, Alcoa reduce cyclical exposure and client concentration
- Technical breakout to all-time highs attracts momentum buying and institutional interest
Bear Case:
- Execution risk rises materially with A$1.85bn of new work across remote locations
- Valuation stretched after 139% 12-month rally; any margin slip could trigger sharp de-rating
- Long-term fixed-price contracts expose SRG to wage and input cost inflation risk
- Revenue concentration among handful of blue-chip clients increases dispute and scope-change risk
- Elevated expectations leave little room for error; pause in contract wins could disappoint
