PMET Resources (PMT) Price Targets

On Friday, PMET Resources shares gained 10.26%, building on positive momentum to bring year-to-date gains to 4.88%. This increase reflects market reaction to the company’s recent AGM and rebranding efforts.

The company’s strategic shift includes a name change from Patriot Battery Metals to PMET Resources Inc., effective September 18, 2025, on the Toronto Stock Exchange and September 19, 2025, on the Australian Securities Exchange. The company retains its trading symbols “PMET” on the TSX and “PMT” on the ASX. According to a press release, this rebranding signifies a move towards becoming a diversified global supplier of critical minerals, encompassing lithium, tantalum, caesium, and gallium. The company’s new tagline is “North America’s critical-mineral powerhouse.”

CEO Ken Brinsden highlighted the symbolism behind the new logo, stating that the three-faced crystal represents the company’s commitment to these minerals and the collaboration among Cree, French, and English cultures involved in the Shaakichiuwaanaan Project.

Furthermore, the company held its AGM in Montreal, Quebec, on September 16, 2025. All proposed resolutions were approved by shareholders, with 74,356,445 common shares represented, accounting for approximately 45.8% of the total issued and outstanding shares.

Volkswagen’s prior strategic investment in December 2024 also continues to influence market sentiment. Volkswagen acquired a 9.9% stake in Patriot Battery Metals for approximately C$69 million, at C$4.42 per share. The company also entered into a supply agreement with Volkswagen’s battery manufacturer, PowerCo SE, committing to supply 100,000 tonnes of spodumene concentrate annually for ten years. A memorandum of understanding was also signed to explore joint development opportunities for the Shaakichiuwaanaan Project in Quebec.
