Fineos shares (ASX:FCL) ended the week with gains of 2.39% at the critical A$3 level, with an impressive 58.73% YTD increase delivering solid outperformance. With Fineos also receiving an upgrade in rating to “Outperform” from RBC Capital, the setup for a break above A$3 appears solid.

The price target raise, along with rating upgrade is a result of the anticipated launch of AdminSuite with Guardian Life and the company’s ongoing efficiency programs.

RBC Capital upgraded Fineos to Outperform from Sector Perform, simultaneously raising the price target from A$2.75 to A$3.50. The analyst anticipates calendar year 2026 as “looking promising” due to the AdminSuite launch with Guardian Life and the advancement of an efficiency program designed to bolster margins.

The initial soft launch is scheduled within the next few weeks, with a full market release planned for January 1, 2026.

Despite the optimism surrounding 2026, Fineos has adjusted its calendar year 2025 revenue guidance towards the lower end of the previously projected range.

Analysts have also voiced concerns about the possibility of Fineos undertaking an equity raising, particularly if client churn rates increase or cash receipts fall short of expectations.
