Australian shares look set to open flat on Monday amid renewed global concerns about the coronavirus.
The SPI200 futures contract was up 7 points, or 0.1 per cent, at 6,962 at 0700 AEDT on Monday.
The benchmark S&P/ASX200 index finished Friday down 26.6 points, or 0.38 per cent, at 7,022.6, while the broader All Ordinaries index fell 27.3 points, or 0.38 per cent, to 7,121.4.
US and European markets also fell slightly before they closed for the week on the back of renewed concerns about the deadly and fast-spreading virus.
The Australian dollar fell to 67.18 US cents on Friday night, as commodity prices fell. It was buying 66.75 US cents at 0700 AEDT on Monday.
