Australia’s share market finished lower on the penultimate day of reporting season, which made for its poorest week of the month.
The S&P/ASX200 benchmark index closed lower by 52.4 points, or 0.86 per cent, to 6073.8 points on Friday.
The index finished down for the week by 0.61 per cent.
The All Ordinaries index closed lower by 49.8 points, or 0.79 per cent, to 6260.8.
The Australian dollar was buying 72.94 US cents at 1620 AEST, higher from 72.34 US cents at Thursday’s close.
