The Australian share market snapped its two-day winning streak, falling modestly as its range-bound trading continues for another week.

The S&P/ASX200 benchmark index finished Wednesday down 22.5 points, or 0.42 per cent, to 5,384.6 points, while the All Ordinaries index was 13.3 points lower, or 0.24 per cent, at 5,464.8.

One Australian dollar was buying 64.47 US cents, up from 64.46 US cents on Tuesday’s close.
