Capital.com
If you want a broker that feels modern, easy to use, and genuinely well suited to both beginners and active traders, Capital.com makes a strong first impression. Founded in 2016, the broker has built its reputation around a clean platform experience, transparent pricing, and a big focus on helping traders learn as they go.
What stands out most is that Capital.com does not try to overwhelm you with unnecessary complexity. Instead, it gives you access to a broad CFD offering on a platform that is clearly designed to make fast-moving markets easier to follow. You can trade more than 5,500 markets, including forex, shares, indices, commodities and cryptocurrencies, while also accessing tools like TradingView integration, MetaTrader support, price alerts, market analysis and demo trading.
Capital.com’s broader pitch is built around technology, and transparent pricing, with a slick platform, solid charting and research tools, and a more polished overall feel than many legacy CFD brokers.
Capital.com is a CFD broker, so this is not a direct-share investing platform in the same way some multi-asset brokers are. But if your aim is to trade price movements rather than build a physical share portfolio, then the line-up is solid. The broker offers CFDs across forex, stock indices, commodities, shares and crypto, with access to 5,500+ global markets through its web platform and app.
You can move from major forex pairs to US shares, then switch into gold, oil or major indices, all within the same interface. That means if you are trading rather than investing, you can do much of that here, instead of jumping between multiple platforms.
It is worth testing out with a demo account first, especially if you want to get comfortable with the platform before putting real money at risk. That matters here because the platform is one of the broker’s biggest selling points, and the demo lets you test that experience without putting down any of your hard earned cash.
Capital.com offers 100+ technical indicators, 50+ drawing tools, price alerts, financial statement data, valuation analysis and market news within the trading environment. So while the platform is approachable, it is not stripped down, and still gives you plenty to work with if you are getting into technical analysis.
The pricing model is straightforward and easy to understand, as Capital charges no trading commission on CFDs, and its core dealing cost is built into the spread. While additional charges can apply in the form of overnight funding, currency conversion fees, and guaranteed stop-loss fees if triggered, there is no deposit or withdrawal fee.
That simplicity means that instead of spending time choosing between multiple account types with different spread-and-commission combinations, you are getting a simpler pricing model that is easier to compare and easier to manage. It is a beginner friendly model, rather than one that might be better for scalpers, or other strategic angles.
There is a monthly inactivity fee of $10 that will kick in if you hold an account and are inactive for 12 months, so you don’t want to leave a balance here and walk away for extended periods.
Support is another area where Capital.com performs well on paper, offering it’s team 24/7. You can find support via phone and email, which is not as common as you might expect these days.
That is a meaningful plus because whilst many brokers market themselves as beginner-friendly. you can’t reach them over the phone when you actually need to.
You will find a strong range of platforms to choose from here, with TradingView, MT4, and MT5 all offered alongside its own web platform and mobile app. That mix is a strong advantage if you have a platform you are stuck on.
If you prefer a built-in all-in-one platform, Capital.com’s own interface may be enough, but if you want a more established charting or execution environment, you can connect through MetaTrader or use TradingView.
The app is clearly one of the broker’s flagship products, with the company offering access to more than 5,000 global markets on the go. You can set instant price alerts, use 100+ indicators, manage risk with stop-loss and take-profit orders, and access education and market analysis from within the app.
It really feels like Capital has made the trading app a real focal point of the offering, rather than trying to bolt something on afterwards as an afterthought. If you trade a lot from your mobile, it could be worth testing out the demo environment to see if this one suits your trading needs.
Capital.com offers market guides, trading strategies, glossary content, webinars, quizzes, videos and the Investmate learning app, alongside broader learning tracks for beginners and more experienced traders.
Capital.com is regulated by ASIC under AFSL 513393, aswell as the FCA, CySEC, SCA, and SCB for users from other regions.

Capital.com is a solid choice if you want a CFD broker that feels modern, accessible and enjoyable to use. Its biggest strengths are the platform UI, mobile experience, platform integrations, education offering and transparent commission-free pricing model. For newer traders, it removes a lot of the intimidation factor that often comes with trading. For more active users, it still offers enough charting depth, platform flexibility and market coverage to stay interesting.
There is not the real shares support that you would want if you are planning to be more of a longer term investor, rather than a trader, so if that is what you need, there would be better options.
Capital.com’s appeal is that it makes multi-market trading feel cleaner, simpler and better designed, rather than offering ECN branding or raw-spread account tiers like some forex-focused competitors. If that is what you are looking for, this could be one to put on the shortlist.
