The oil and gas producer says it has successfully laid 67 km of subsea pipeline to connect its Sole gas field off the coast of Victoria to APA Group’s Orbost gas plant near Newmerella.
The only offshore work on the project left is repairing a damaged section of pipe, which should be finished by the end of May. The project will supply 24 petajoules of gas to Victoria when complete, although most is contracted for.
