British Prime Minister Theresa May and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker made headway in crunch Brexit talks on Wednesday but more work is needed before a crucial weekend summit, the EU said.
‘Very good progress was made in the meeting between President Juncker and Prime Minister Theresa May. Work is continuing,’ a spokesperson for the commission, the EU’s executive arm which is leading Brexit talks, said.
