FOD – THE FOOD REVOLUTION – down 1.5 cents, or 8.6 per cent, to 16 cents

The Food Revolution shares climbed as much as 11 per cent but lost ground later after it announced it had won a 12-month contract to supply apple mango juice to Aldi.

MIN – MINERAL RESOURCES – up $3.31, or 26.6 per cent, to $15.76

Albemarle Corp, the world’s top lithium producer, has agreed to pay $US1.15 billion to form a lithium joint venture with Mineral Resources, a week after regulators rejected plans to expand its operations in Chile.

JBH – JB HI-FI – up 75 cents, or 3.3 per cent, to $23.23

HVN – HARVEY NORMAN – down one cent, or 0.3 per cent, to $3.02

Retail stocks such as JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Norman could be affected by Amazon’s announcement Thursday morning that it will stop blocking Australians from shopping on its much larger US site after a customer backlash.

MYR – MYER HOLDINGS – down 0.5 cents, or 1.3 per cent, to 39.5 cents

Myer says Solomon Lew’s denial he is considering a takeover bid adds weight to its view that he is trying to engineer a board spill to gain control of the struggling department store chain.
