Stocks of interest on the Australian share market at the close on Monday, September 10.

ANZ – AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND BANKING GROUP – down 14 cents, or 0.49 per cent, at $28.26

CBA – COMMONWEALTH BANK – up 24 cents, or 0.34 per cent, at $70.75

NAB – NATIONAL AUSTRALIA BANK – down 18 cents, or 0.65 per cent, at $27.69

WBC – WESTPAC – down 11 cents, or 0.4 per cent, at $27.69

NAB decided against raising its mortgage rates and its share price in relation to its rivals seemed to suggest investors were thinking about the lost opportunity to boost margins.

PRY – PRIMARY HEALTH CARE – up 5 cents, or 1.78 per cent, at $2.86

Primary Health Care announced the acquisition of seven clinics that will form the nucleus of a new day hospital division deriving non-Medicare revenue.

EXU – EXPLAURUM – up 3.1 cents, or 42 per cent, at 10.5 cents

Shares in Explaurum jumped 42 per cent to 10.5 cents on news gold miner Ramelius Resources had made a takeover bid for the gold and base metals explorer.
