BRG – Breville Group – up $1.46, or 12.5 per cent, to $13.10
Shares in Breville have jumped more than 12 per cent after the appliance maker announced its full-year profit rose 8.7 per cent to $58.5 million.
ORG – Origin Energy – down 62 cents, or 6.4 per cent, to $9.09
Origin Energy has more than doubled underlying profit on the back of improved performance in its retail and gas production operations, and signalled a return to dividend payouts in the current financial year.
TLS – Telstra – up 17 cents, or 5.9 per cent, to $3.06
Telstra shares hit a three-month high despite the telco giant warning of increased competition and the continued impact of the NBN rollout on its bottom line and posting an 8.4 per cent drop in full-year profit.
TWE – Treasury Wine Estates – up 83 cents, or 4.5 per cent, to $19.41
Treasury Wine Estates’ focus on premium product is paying off, with the wine supplier lifting full-year profit 34 per cent after increasing sales of high-end wines around the world.
