SUN – Suncorp Group – up 71 cents, or 4.7 per cent, to $15.70
Suncorp shares have jumped to their highest level since 2007 after the insurer sold its life insurance business and showed a strong turnaround in second-half performance.
CWN – Crown Resorts – up 89 cents, or 6.7 per cent, to $14.21
Casinos operator Crown Resorts’ shares lifted to their highest close in over three years after the company posted a full-year profit of $558.9 million, boosted by the return of high-roller gamblers.
AGL – AGL Energy – down 90 cents, or 4.1 per cent, to $21.11
Energy retailer AGL lifted its annual profit threefold to $1.6 billion, courtesy of hedging boosts but underlying profit is also higher.
REA – REA Group – up 95 cents, or 1.2 per cent, to $82.31
Real estate giant REA Group will post its full-year results on Friday.
