AMC – Amcor – down 89 cents, or 5.8 per cent, to $14.39
Amcor shares fell following after the packaging manufacturer announced a $US6.8b deal to acquire major US competitor Bemis, with investors marking the stock down on the full pricing and potential returns.
TCL – Transurban Group – up 12 cents, or one per cent, to $12.02
Toll road operator Transurban’s shares rose after it announced it had doubled its annual net profit to $485 million, driven by an increase in toll prices and higher vehicle numbers.
AMP – AMP Limited – down 10 cents, or 2.9 per cent, to $3.35
Scandal-ridden wealth management firm AMP will post its first-half earnings on Wednesday. The company earlier warned its first-half underlying profit will drop by as much as 11 per cent.
CBA – Commonwealth Bank – down 67 cents, or 0.9 per cent, to $72.89
Commonwealth Bank will post its full-year results on Wednesday.
