Stocks of interest on Friday on the Australian stock exchange at noon AEST:

ISD – ISENTIA GROUP – up 8.5 cents, or 12.1 per cent, at 78.5 cents

Veteran Australian media executive Ed Harrison has been announced as the new chief executive of the media intelligence company, which has also reaffirmed its full-year earnings guidance.

ELD – ELDERS – down $1.28, or 15.4 per cent, at $7.06.

Shares in rural services group Elders have plunged after the company delivered an earnings update that signals its full-year earnings will be flat due to the impact of drought across large parts of Australia.

CBA – COMMONWEALTH BANK – up $1.21, or 1.6 per cent, to $75.67

ANZ – ANZ BANK – up 56 cents, or two per cent, to $28.99

Bank stocks enjoyed a strong rebound on Friday as investors returned to the sector and a UBS report tipped the big four banks may benefit from rising interest rates, with CBA and ANZ leading the way.
