Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange:

AGO – ATLAS IRON – in a trading halt, last traded at 3.6 cents

Shares in miner Atlas Iron have been placed in a trading halt ahead of an expected announcement “regarding a control transaction proposal”.

BUB – BUBS AUSTRALIA – down 2.0 cents, or 2.2 per cent, at 87.5 cents

Infant formula and goat dairy products supplier Bubs Australia has raised $40 million in a significantly oversubscribed offer of new shares at 75 cents each.

S32 – SOUTH32 – down 10.5 cents, or 2.7 per cent, at $3.795

South32 has made a $US1.3 billion ($A1.75 billion) bid to take sole ownership of US-based Arizona Mining.

WOR – WORLEY PARSONS – down 8.0 cents, or 0.5 per cent, at $16.46

INTECSEA, a subsidiary of Australian firm WorleyParsons has been awarded a contract to design subsea infrastructure and a new 260km-to-290km pipeline to carry gas to ConocoPhillips’ existing pipeline, part of the Barossa gas project.
