Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange:

AHG – AUTOMOTIVE HOLDINGS GROUP – down 37 cents, or 10.9 per cent, at $3.03

Car retailer Automotive Holdings Group has slumped to a six-year low after warning its margins have been hit by new rules around selling add-on insurance and finance as well as a poor market in Western Australia.

AMP – AMP LTD – up 3.5 cents, or 0.9 per cent, at $3.885

AMP has been hit with a third class action over the scandals revealed at the banking royal commission and the resulting damage to the embattled financial giant’s market value.

BSL – BLUESCOPE – up 12 cents, or 0.67 per cent, at $18.15

Bluescope Steel has lifted its first-half earnings guidance about 12 per cent largely thanks to a strong performance in North America.

LNK – LINK GROUP – up 45 cents, or 6.6 per cent, at $7.24

Fund administrator Link Group says the federal government’s attempt to reunite people with money languishing in unused superannuation accounts would have cost it as much as $55 million in revenue if it had been enacted this year.

RHL – RURALCO HOLDINGS – up nine cents, or 2.9 per cent, at $3.18

Agriculture services provider Ruralco has lifted first-half profit 29 per cent to $16.1 million despite tough trading conditions in the live export business.
