SYDNEY, AAP – Investors have seen little change on the Australian share market for a third consecutive session after the ASX200 last week closed at its highest level since the coronavirus crash.

The benchmark S&P/ASX200 index closed up 2.9 points, or 0.04 per cent, to 6976.9 on Tuesday.

The All Ordinaries closed higher by 5.8 points, or 0.08 per cent, to 7231.

The information technology sector gained 2.16 per cent, while the energy and materials sectors had losses of 0.72 and 0.67 per cent respectively.

Investors have been cautious since the ASX200 on Thursday closed at its highest level (6998.8) since February last year.

The Australian dollar was buying 76.13 US cents at 1623 AEST, higher from 76.12 US cents at Monday’s close.
